How can you help?
Volunteers are always needed!
The East Bay Coalition for the Homeless welcomes all volunteers interested in making a difference in the lives of homeless families. For more information, please call EBCH, at (401) 437-5104.
There are many ways in which individuals and groups in the community can help our neighbors in need. Some groups hold fundraisers and donate the proceeds to the East Bay Coalition for the Homeless. Creative and fun examples from the past have included "Fancy Feast," and “Men Who Cook” church and community dinners, concerts, outdoor "homeless sleepovers," spaghetti dinners, a gingerbread house contest & auction. Individuals often contribute through direct donations, memorial donations, and volunteer help at events throughout the year.
To keep our programs viable, we must raise $75,000 in donations from individuals, foundations and other private sources this year. Most of the Coalition's financial support comes from federal, state and local grants, but it is never enough to fully fund program needs.
Our United Way Donor Designation number is 4730. Tax-deductible contributions may be mailed to the East Bay Coalition for the Homeless, 100 Bullocks Point Avenue, East Providence, RI 02915.
